Three years after it bought LiveJournal, Six Apart has sold LiveJournal to a Russian company.
According to the Associated Press and the BBC, the Russian Company SUP hopes to make LiveJournal more world-centric than North-America-centric.
It appears that the audience for LiveJournal (about 1.7 million users) may be migrating to such places as Facebook (32.9 million useers) and MySpace.
Even so, LiveJournal has been a big hit in Russia, which explains SUP’s interest in it. [ Read More ]
